Advancing Brain Cancer Imaging
TrivarX is developing Stabl-Im, an imaging-focused platform that explores the use of stable isotopes with MRI to generate additional biological information about brain cancers and metastases – without the use of ionising radiation.
Funding secured
The company has secured new funding to develop and advance TrivarX’s lead technology Stabl-Im into the clinic.
Clinical development planning
A clinical feasibility study is in planning to evaluate safe operating parameters, imaging performance and reproducibility.
Radiation-free approach
Designed to investigate tumour biology using stable isotopes and MRI, without radioactive tracers.
Advancing Oncology Imaging
TrivarX is a biotechnology company focused on developing medical imaging technologies for oncology applications.
The Stabl-Im Program
The Company’s lead program, Stabl-Im, is investigating whether stable isotope labelling combined with MRI can provide additional information about tumour biology, including features associated with cell turnover and treatment-related changes.
Initial Clinical Focus
The initial focus is on brain cancers and brain metastases, where distinguishing active tumour from treatment effect or other tissue changes can be clinically challenging.
Supporting Clinical Decision-Making
Stabl-Im is being developed as a potential complement to existing imaging approaches, with the aim of supporting more informed detection, monitoring and treatment response assessment.
Progressing Towards Clinical Development
TrivarX is progressing the program toward clinical development, with activities underway across supply, formulation, regulatory strategy, imaging methodology and finalising clinical study design.
“The combination of stable isotope science with MRI represents a highly differentiated and innovative approach, with the potential to redefine how we image and monitor disease, particularly in areas such as brain cancer where current options are limited. Importantly, Stabl-Im has the potential to deliver a safe, non-invasive method to visualise cellular activity in real time, which could significantly improve how clinicians detect, monitor and manage disease progression. Ultimately, this has the potential to drive better outcomes for patients by enabling earlier intervention, more informed treatment decisions and improved care.”

Clinical development plan
TrivarX is preparing Stabl-Im for a planned feasibility study to evaluate safety, feasibility, imaging performance and reproducibility in patients with brain tumours or brain metastases.
Investigating tumour biology
Stabl-Im combines stable isotope labelling with MRI to investigate biological features of tumour activity. The program is being developed as a potential complementary approach to established anatomical and molecular imaging methods.
